Yes!!! There's a really good new one on Wartstrasse, just behind the train station. They sell proper Indian spices and groceries as well as clothes and jewellery. I could spend a fortune in there!

Go out of the station in the opposite direction from the city centre and exit the underpass towards Rudolfstrasse, then find the Hotel Wartmann and walk up the street that runs alongside it. The Indian Grocery is at the far end, near the junction with Neuwiesenstrasse.

That street also has two Thai groceries on it, and a Thai teashop! (Plus a Disc Borse that sells second hand DVDs as well as CDs and records - a great place.)

If you fancy a mango lassi while you're in the area, I can strongly recommend the Tibetan restaurant/cafe just round the corner on Neuwiesenstrasse (heading towards Wulflingerstrasse). Yum!

I just went to this shop and I must say that it was quite nice, not too big. The lady at the counter spoke good english
My collegue is organizing a inidian dinner and she got a everything she needed
plus she has some himalaya beauty products and some nice collection of indian clothes as well.
I will definitely recommend it. And I got PANEER. I know it can be made at home but it is handy to have some
Bindu
planning to make palak paneer for dinner

Yup, I like the amul paneer we get in aggarwals....but they don't stock up that consistently and also I visit agarwals not very frequently. Sometimes I have gone all the way there for them to say that the stock will arrive after a week.

The SKT (srilankan grocery) is also stocking up panner now and the size of the paneer cubes are quite nice and so is the taste.I cook more south indian stuff and SKT is my favourite now.

BARKAT also sells panner but I have heard some people complain about the quality

I am glad I found this shop in winterthur as I work here and can pop by quickly during lunch

Oh not the Amul Paneer, now they also have a small slab with label 'grill paneer', its much better than Amul, havent been to Agrawal in ages, but the Food shop near my house stocks from there, its right outside Seebach station , if thats convinient for you...

Yes, There are several Indian/Srilankan stores in zurich where you will find everything you get back home. Even a good number of vegetables (fresh, frozen or canned).
