Instruction manual for Okay (Landi) Top13 mower?

We got an Okay Top13 electric mower with our house, but no instruction manual.

Does anyone happen to have one? I can't find one online anywhere.

Specifically I'm interested in the "mulching" function - the mower comes with two extra parts that I can fit, and I think one may initiate mulching. Or it may clog up the whole thing completely, so before trying thought it worth asking

Landi people are usually very friendly and helpful. Why not visit them and ask them for a Handbuch? They can probably order one.

Normally, remove grass collection box, lift rear flap and fit attachment into the hole where the grass clippings come out.
The mulching attachment should have a handle at one end (which you hold when fitting) and a curved section at the other (which should close the gap where the clippings exit - it completes the circular under-housing around the cutting blade).

Perfect thanks - that's exactly what I thought. I just wasn't sure since there's then no obvious exit route, I guess it drops out the bottom when it's small enough.

Yes agree they've always been helpful to me, and I'd only need to glance at the book not have one. But we get used to being able to Google everything I guess!

Yep, the clippings continue to circulate around the blade as it cuts, supposedly becoming finer,

However, my experience is mixed - if the grass is long or damp, clumping can occur - and the underside of the mower becomes quite clogged with wet clipping mulch. To this end, there may be a nozzle to attach a hose pipe for cleaning, without having to lift the mower onto it's side and end up with spray back. The only thing, I'm unsure of, is whether the blade should be rotating when the water is turned on - my immediate thought, with an electric mower, would be NO ...... but the motor should be well insulated and if you use a circuit breaker at the plug, then you can try a quick whirl.

As with all appliances today, you'll find a manual online - always in English. You just need to find the manufacturer and model number, not the brand...

"Okay" is Landi's own brand for garden and DIY machines - English is not normally given in instructions (strangely, I have seen it on the packaging, sometimes) - normally just the three main official Swiss languages, as I believe, that their machines are not available outside of CH.

I've previously looked for online manuals, without success, for Okay machines.

I agree - I've found manuals for just about everything, even photos of manuals never issued in electronic form - but not this one, even using the non-branded references on the ID plate.

Exactly. I have just tried to find an online manual of my Landi OKAY mower, without success. It is a petrol mower and the manufacturer is in China http://www.ngp.cn/index.htm. The model is in their product list (although the illustration is not in the Landi yellow/green colour scheme). For ordering a user handbook, you are simply referred to an email address.

Incidentally, did you see this concerning your model ?: https://www.schweizerbauer.ch/artikel_5490.html

Thanks yes, it's also on the Landi site, but the mower was bought in 2013 so it's OK.
