Adopting a refugee family in Basel-Landschaft

We would like to "adopt" a refugee family in our place in Allschwil, BL. Does anyone know how we can go about this? Has anyone done it?
thanks

Ask them at your Allschwil social security department. It is an enormous commitment.

Before you adopt gaburko please remember... a refugee is for life, not just for Christmas.

Re: Adopting a refugee family in Basel-Landschaft

Caritas runs a program similar to "Big Sister Big Brother" and other programs. I don't know if this is the only organization in CH, but it's a good place to start.

I am sure any initiative you take to help, will be most welcome.
