Welcome to the forum.
You might not want to call people "dears" if your intention is to make friends, though.

I doubt it, 83 x 20 storey tower blocks stretching 1.3 km plus 2 x 24 story blocks. Loads of people. I spent 5 weeks shooting a feature film there 2 years ago.

Re: Need friends in Le Lignon,

Sorry can't help- but we had friends who lived in Le Lignon for many years when it was first built- what an amazing place (maze) - I wonder what it is like now.

Re: Need friends in Le Lignon,

You might be better signing up to Glocals
www.glocals.com/geneva - there are probably several people who live in Lignon on there.
I had a friend who used to live there and it took me ages to find her flat!!

Whats wrong with calling everyone "Dears" ?

Better than writing "Hi A...holes" or something along those lines

"Dears" is generally seen as condescending or patronizing, that's why.

There's a world of terms between asshole and dear, let me assure you.

Re: Need friends in Le Lignon,

I say it when I pat youngsters on the head - metaphorically of course. Youngsters = under 50!
Oddly enough a couple of gay guys I know well sometimes call me 'dear'. Don't ask me why. Maybe they just think I'm over the hill. Maybe they are right.
