cycling magazines, Geneva

hi, does anyone know of anywhere in Geneva or surroundings that sells english language cycling magazines?
I've tried the usual suspects ( Naville, Payot ) but with no luck.

Re: cycling magazines, Geneva

no idea, any chance to order them for international delivery?

but I actually have improved my reading of German significantly by reading German cycling magazines, I wish I could read French because I love the French cycling mags.

Re: cycling magazines, Geneva

After a few years of looking for English-language cycling mags in the French-speaking part of the country, we've not been able to find any place that sells them.

In the end, we decided to purchase a subscription to Bicycling, which already has quite a lot of stuff available on their website for free. Just received the June issue last week, so the international shipping is quite timely. If you're interested in pro riding, Cyclingnews.com is an excellent online resource, and is also free. We're also in the habit of picking up a few British magazines whenever we're in England.

If I remember correctly, it is US$40 for a one-year subscription to Bicycling magazine with delivery in Switzerland.

I admit to having some masochistic tendencies. Just look at what do I for fun, cycle uphill on a body better built for bowling.... yet alone my career choice.

*L*... I know what you mean... I've been thinking of taking up darts as a hobby, and my knees are all in favour.

There had been a cylce club in Nyon -- I think they have gone by the wayside.. I never got to ride with them for one reason or another but they sounded like my kinda gang (to a degree)
