You're right on that one there, eh? But you'd probably be able to fix it up with a duct tape though.

Should see my keyboard here, covered in little tiny post it notes to convert it from German to UK keyboard.

Bear in mind a US warranty will almost certainly not be honoured outside of the US, unless you purchase the additional "Applecare" (which is worldwide).

All mobile devices made by Apple (iPods, all Notebooks) with the exception of the iPhone come with a 1-year international warranty - no worries there.

Thought I'd revive this briefly...

My wife dropped her MacBook Pro just before we left Australia at the end of last year and damaged the Magsafe socket. It's finally gotten to the point where (I assume) the contacts are not being made properly and it will no longer charge or power on.

Can anyone recommend a particular place to get it repaired in Zurich, or should I just take it to the Apple place near the HB ? It's still under warranty and I'm crossing my fingers that it might just be passed off as a warranty job...
