Any German talk radio stations?

German talk radio stations that I can pick on my handy/mobile? Just want to listen to German speaking people talk when I am out and about. News, culture, international/local affairs would be better. I am going through various stations and they seem to be all playing music/songs...maybe because it's 3:30 AM? So what frequency for a decent talk radio station?

Re: Any German talk radio stations?

Here is the link: http://www.listenlive.eu/switzerland.html

BTW: Make sure that you paid the licence because Man in Black will come and get you... i.e. Mr. Billag AG

''Every household with possibility of receiving radio and television programmes is subject to pay licence fees. If you are in this case you have to register with Billag, which is in charge for the invoicing of the fees.

It does not matter whether the programmes are broadcast by SRG SSR idee suisse or a private provider. As well it does not matter, whether the reception occurs by antenna, cable or satellite. Also the use of prtable radio and television sets, clock radios, car radios, etc. means to be subject to register and pay the fees.

Fees:
Private (3months, VAT incl.)
Radio reception: CHF 42.25
Television reception: CHF 73.25

Anyone not registered with Billag and in possesion of an operational radio or television set is subject to a fine up tp CHF5000.-''

Re: Any German talk radio stations?

Thanks Jacek but I had Googled that link as well I had used it to click on the stations and get their radio frequency as I am not looking for live streaming via web but over my mobile phone. You know old school style.

Anyway DRS1,2,3,4 seemed the most promising....but they are not really proper talk radio stations. They were playing country music and are still playing crappy music with bit of talking in between No solid talk radio station out there?

Yeah I am all legit. Hey do you work for Billag?

No worries I do not (I would be crazy if I did work for them, someone eventually would beat me up for being one of those annoying folks sniffing all around in quest for illegal users of media appliances) ... but they spoilt my evening yesterday during an exciting match Ferrer Vs. Monfils.... The guy was nuts to ask me if I have a portable radio

See more on the... My Cablecom nightmare (Geneva; ongoing report)
