as I am getting ready to leave Switzerland next week I have lots of foreign coins collected which I am not going to bring to Australia.

Anyone knows if there's a charity in Lausanne or a place where I put put these coins in?

There is always the foreign shrapnel collection thingy at the airport. Although I can understand wanting to get rid of them before hand.

MacDonalds give money to charity, they have a collection at the drive in window.

Look for a link on the Swiss/Miles andMore website.
Maybe you can drop it off at the SBB/CFF Change bureau.
I know you can in Gare de Geneve Aeroport CFF.
