although searching throu forums, couldnt come up with a big store in Zurich for maternity items, clothes and also baby equipment.

Can somebody give me any idea?

I am looking for a store and not internet orders.

Wehrli (I found some items overpriced but has a good assortment)

For maternity clothes H&M as Sutter said is your best bet (and much cheaper too), otherwise try the online (search for Umstandsmode).

Prepare yourself to be disapointed because of lack of assortment

Toys R US (probably one of the cheapest places) Spreitenbach and Deitlikon.

There's a big baby place opposite Hornbach in Littau (but never tried it).

As mentioned before H&M has clothing, also Manor etc...

Try a few google and/or telephone directory searches too.

Depending on when you are due, I still have sweaters, dresses and blouses (Gap/ Old Navy/ C&A) that I'm looking to get rid of for cheap. Rather see someone get some use out of them then to bin them in the kleidersammel sack

Where about in Manor are the maternity clothes? I could find the baby bit but not maternity.

any body knows Margarheta's bebe in Wetzikon? i am looking for one with normal prices and not overly priced
