Richard, I'm referring to the applicable VAT rate, not what you have to pay in the end. And sometimes, you do have to pay for ambulance journeys yourself, it's a bit of a fuzzy business.

I think I'd be quite literally past caring. I was going to add my thread contribution as the permitted-suicide-tourism in Switzerland as a strange kind of law but it's all a bit depressing. I was reading again about Dr Death in Oerlikon, and the rented apartment where he takes his customers to end it all. I wonder if the Gemeinde gets any complaints from the neighbours about loud thuds after 10pm, and people doing "removals" in the middle of the night...

Does anyone know where this is ? No please don't tell...
