Where to throw carton boxes ? [Zurich]

Hello

we moved into our new place recently, and there are so many pieces of carton boxes on the floor that it seems that we do not really need any carpets

Where can I throw them?

Sorry for this trivial query, but we have never been informed by anyone about this issue.

Re: Where to throw carton boxes ? [Zurich]

You can tie up the cartons and put them outside for collection. Check out this website for the collection days in your area. You need to give in your area code and then click on Karton (http://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/internet...gkalender.html)
If the cartons are in a good condition you can get rid of them by going to your local migros or coop and writing an add saying cartons for free.

I have heard tell that some unscrupulous people get rid of paper and card waste by burning it in the fireplace at home....

Perhaps you could donate some of them to your local school or kindergarten.

A cardboard box has potential you wouldn't even begin to imagine...

Where can I throw them?
The lake, river or your neighbors yard.

Or you could save them. If the economy gets much worse you could use them as shelter for the approaching winter.

Re: Where to throw carton boxes ? [Zurich]

I would do it, but the state of the boxes is awful, so there is no any potential...
