On a recent trip to Munich, in fact in the Hofbrauhaus beer hall, our Olympus Camedia Camera took a dive and the knob that changes the function has come off.

I have no idea where I might take it to get a quote on repairing it. I am in Zurich and would appreciate any advice on where I might find a camera repair shop.

True, but....

... a good friend of mine just explained to me, that OLYMPUS traded out his drowned C-7070 for a couple hundred Franks!! Now he is back into the underwater photography with a higher quality camera... one that he is used to and can operate better under water.

BTW, Cameras are so inexpensive these days.... it costs less than one thinks to upgrade to a DSLR.

Thanks for the tip, Scott. I was able to find a place to get a quote. As expected it will be expensive to repair. Trouble is the camera has a really good lens, so we're still deciding what to do.
