I will be moving to Basel in April and I am wondering whether I am able to gain a benefit from having the VITRA factory in the neighborhood.

I have been searching the internet to find out if there is a Vitra factory outlet, but all I can find is the museum shop and miniature-chairs ........

Does anyone know?

i never heard of a vitra factory outlet. i think they're too much "designish" to have an outlet.

but there's a shop in liesberg, leimental, called büroocca. they get/buy furniture from offices which close or have to close or buy new furniture.

you find there oftem an eames-chair or usm-möbel for a good price. don't be scared when you see the shop, it's kind of chaotic, but you can't find there real suprises.

I think it's highly unlikely that Vitra will have an outlet store.

They do have a museum shop in Weil am Rhein (DE).
Located on Charles-Eames Strasse. . . .
