I always wondered about this threading thing. I mean what can it do that an agile tweezer can not?
You can try and find out yourself !. jokes apart threading is much efficient, twiser can pluck only one hair at a time however in threading more than 3-4 can be removed at one go and result is much cleaner as it removes very fine hair too. So for thicker eyebrows its much efficient than twisers and hence preferred. I could say if anyone has tried plucking and threading both, will prefer threading, of course exception could be there.

Re: Indian Beauty Parlor in Zurich

The difference between threading and tweezing is that threading is done line by line- while you can pick out an individual hair, you can pick off a whole bunch of them as well. Its much faster, and a lot less painful.

Also, for some reason (someone else maybe able to give more info here) I don't seem to get as many problems with ingrowns etc with threading.

And you get a much better shape out of them- though that's probably my ineptitude at tweezing, more than anything else.

Hi Swiss_Scouser, the only reason I asked for an Indian beauty parlor has been rightly pointed out by user rose1983 below, it is for shaping my eyebrows. My eyebrows are thick and difficult to shape and can only be kept neat by threading, which, as far as I have seen in the USA, is offered only in the Indian parlors. Other parlors offer tweezing and/ or waxing for shaping eyebrows.
Ah, finally someone with the same problem!

Re: Indian Beauty Parlor in Zurich

Can anyone suggest any place where threading/tweezing/shaping of eyebrows can be done in Vevey.
My wife has been to many salons/coiffure, but none of them seem to offer this service

Thank you so much!!!! I've got real caterpillar eyebrows that can't be waxed or tweezed so that information will be very important for me!

I tried the search box initially with "beauty parlor" and got no results and stupid me never thought of using "threading" as a tag
If you got the details , can i request you to pls send me the same in PM.Thanks.
