waste cardboard [disposing of]

Does anybody know where we could get rid of a lot of cardboard? We prefer not to wait till the next collection ( takes too much space)

Thank you in advance

Re: waste cardboard

Had the same problem.

Our Gemeinde Dietlikon have a main rubbish handling place, I just took it there and ditched it.

Search their website for "Abfall" and I'm sure you'll find it.

Re: waste cardboard

You can leave it for free at the Recycling-Park,
Which is next to the french border at Schlachthofstrasse 18, and is open Mo–Fr 14.00–16.30 Uhr, Sa 8.00–12.00 Uhr

They will take anything, but some things will cost money.

Re: waste cardboard [disposing of]

I usually go and visit Ikea where they have big bins for all the various materials and I put it there. They also have big bins down in the car park which makes life easier.

I sympathise with your problem though - we have cardboard collections every 8 weeks and paper every 6 weeks. It can get annoying especially if you miss one and have to wait for the next one. I also hate all that bundling with string that has to be done.

Count yourself lucky Mark. In my sleepy little village we have paper collections about every 8 weeks or so and cardboard every three months!!

I bring my stuff to work and chuck it in the office waste skip (with permission of course )
