In my experience a Sauna is simply too hot to allow that particular reaction!

I was in this lovely little country and happen to be in a sauna party for my friends parents wedding anniversary.

Started off with everybody in swim wear, having bbq and vodka and then no sooner... most of us were naked

Was more than a a bit of a culture shock and I didnt know where to look while my friends mom, bless her, was teasing me "its ok.. look... hasnt she got a nice body"

And then no sooner, it was skinny dipping, naked shower and sauna... but I managed to keep my shorts and virtue

Theres more, but I wont bore you guys with details... just that after that my hormones had reached a level like never before, even hair on my head were upstraight!!

And the next day I managed to do somethind totally stupid and embarassing... much to the amusement of my friends family

I have yet to see a hot sauna here. I find them all freezing! Any tips?

Only a tip, to avoid Bad Zurzach. They had 4 Saunas. 45, 60, 80, and 90 degrees.

If its you on the Avatar, you are hot enough already, and dont need external heat.

As for sauna, most seem to be around 70 here, but I like mine 100-110. Am weird like that..

well, first you warm up and sweat a bit. then run out of the sauna and weather permitting, roll around in the snow or if you are lucky to have a frozen pond nearby, jump into the ice hole you have made previously. mm good. then back to sauna. back to snow. repeat at least 3 times.

Then you also need a..you know, I checked and there is no word for it in English..basically young birch branches with leaves tied together (hardcore people can use juniper) and you swat yourself and your fellow sauna goers with it, excellent for the circulation.

Wash. Have a nice cold beer.

Yes, that's how it's done. Not some "oh let's sit in warmish 50 degrees for a few minutes with our swimsuits on"

I exactly know what you are saying... just add a small room with all "Perversive accessories" you can think of.. naked carved out statues and naked people running around... and replace beer with Vodka... pool tables.. sofa lounges and on the upper floor a nice cosy room with a double bed and roof which makes it look like you are lying under open starry sky.

I must say that your story gives me a bit of the impression that you are in fact a virgin. If the story will clearly change this, I am all ears

As a finn, I have no problems with naked sauna, it's the only real way to do it!

So what if there's a bunch of naked people around you and dangly bits show, big deal. I do the sauna for the cleansing and relaxing effect it gives me, therest doesnt really matter (and swimming trunks are not comfortable in a sauna anyway).
