If he is admiring you already then why all the hassle to "re-shape and re-brand" yourself.
Happy women are the fat women, who can devour a whole fried chicken without much thought about their weight and physique and then go home and ask their husband to buy them new clothes as old ones dont fit anymore.
The husband does it with a big smile and buys some matching jewellery and shoes too.

I don't get joy in a chicken but I do when I have nice muscles, nice butt in a pair of jeans. Being in good shape, feeling good about yourself keep you away of the whole chicken who will finish in your butt anyway. Good for the women who loves it like that, me, I like my body enough to take a good care of it to keep it healthy as long as possible!

By the way, I saw a woman at the pool with a white bikini. Her top was so transparent you could see her nipples like nothing was covering them. And she didn't care! I don't know how those old men kept themself calm! | | | | | its difficult what especially with the hot flushes but then when you remember that you forgot to bring the viagra you calm down pretty quickly ...

I thought that it was well known that women usually dress up for (i.e. against) each other as #1 on this list.
AFAIK what the man thinks comes in at around #5-10 in the priorities of the "who am I looking good for" list, depending on which list you read...

Maybe that's why they are so confortable to walk naked in front of others... | | This user would like to thank Nil for this useful post: | |

I especially liked when it was sauna-time with my colleagues of Nokia (the mobile phone company), it was a cool way to relax and unwind. In a naked sauna, with a few beers, there was no more suits, ties, fashion (or lack of fashion), there was much less distance from one to an other, there was just human beings sweating and chatting (and drinking a bit of beer, even if we are supposed to behave like in a church when we go to sauna in Finland).

/Paul | | | | | Did you actually read the thread??? You are looking at nine pages on naked saunas IN SWITZERLAND. You do not need to miss them, saunas are here and they are naked. The point is that this seems to be weird for our English and US forum members as they rather sweat in swim wear. Don't ask me, I do not get it...

Call my point out of the topic if you want, my point is: naked saunas with *colleagues* (and with large group of friends, not just one or two friends in a room of strangers) is something that I miss, and that does not belong to the culture in Switzerland.
Didn't one poster in the thread mention that naked saunas are ok with strangers and friends, but not with relatives? Well, maybe that the poster was out of the topic, but for me (out of the topic too ?) the point is opposite: taking a sauna with strangers, it's like sitting in a bus near someone you don't know, and it's dull, naked or not naked. The point of a naked sauna in Finland is also to communicate with people you meet often, but without the distance of even a piece of fabric. For instance, you can talk to your bosses in a very equal way in a naked sauna.
My point is also to highlight that the differences of sauna-cultures, it is not so necessary whether you have a piece of fabric or not. I would not go to a sauna in spas or gyms, whether it's naked or not, that's quite pointless to me (I don't do sports, I don't like spas, and I would not really enjoy discussing with strangers in a sauna). And I would feel surprised to see a friend, a relative or a colleague putting the distance of a piece of fabric when getting in the sauna room.

I'll never forget my first naked sauna. Many years ago I did a deal in Helsinki. The first day was pretty formal negotiations - the client wasn't the chatty sort. Probably wasn't helped by the fact we turned up in suits and he didn't. As the afternoon drew on, we seemed to be getting nowhere. Then to cap it all he surprised us by telling my negotiating team that he'd reserved a restaurant for dinner.... "but first we do sauwna!" I kid you not you could've heard a pin drop in the room after that bombshell. But we all downed tools and dutifully headed off to this sauna in his office complex where we all got nekkid. The men went off in one - women in another. Turned out he had some things he wanted to get off his chest all day but felt more comfortable discussing it in the sauna than in the conference room. No doubt about it. The Sauna is a great leveller. I think he felt less intimated by us when he got us out of our suits
I suppose it's a bit like doing business in Japan or Korea. The barriers don't come down until you've had a few too many beers together and make an ar$e of yourself in front of them all singing karaoke. It puts the relationship on a better footing!

I am surprised that in 9 pages of posts nobody has actually explained the point of a sauna....
I am a fairly regular user of the sauna and found out what it was all about when I 1st started using them.
In the sauna your pores open and the dirt comes out with the sweat, after 10-15mins of sweating you leave the sauna and jump into a cold pool or cold shower to close your pores again quickly so that as they close they don't suck part of the dirt back in....... after a hot (95-110°) sauna you want to cool down quickly anyway and it is amazingly healthy for your circulation.
If you are wearing swimming trunks or a bikini then the dirt that comes out during the sauna gets sucked back in again because your pores don't close so quickly and the sweat doesn't get rinsed off as quickly.....
Sitting on a wooden bench without a towel between you and the bench is "not done" and very unhygenic.
There are those that have talked about spotty bottoms here, you will get a spotty bottom if you wear a swimsuit during a sauna because your skin won't be cleaned properly.
As for the naked side of saunas it is perfectly natural and who gives a f... if everybody is in the same boat, if you are ashamed of your body then do something about it....

Nobody should ever try this if they have a cardiac condition for instance. Really.... before trying Saunas, it's important to get a doctor's approval if there is an underlying health issue | Quote: | | | | | Only, I do it for myself.

| | | | Re: Naked Saunas | Quote: | | | | | They die not from drowning but from heat- something to do with BP, they are researching to find out exactly how it happens | | | | | Having lived in Japan and enjoyed frequent soaks in the public bathtubs after a workout, I was curious about this because "Japanese Killer Baths" is an emotive headline and I'd never heard of it before. Certainly never come across a body floating in the spa. So I did a bit of googling. I think the reporter didn't do his research.
Turns out, nearly all of the bath related fatalities are old people.
About half the deaths are are down to existing heart disease or hypertension. Most of the deaths happen in winter and surprise surprise researchers put the trigger down to shock brought on by going from a cold bathroom into a hot bath. So it's not the heat per se, it's the temperature swing.
The other fifty percent of deaths are due to drowning brought on by accidents getting in and out of the bath, booze or suicide.
The report was filmed in a public bath house, whilst most of the deaths happened whilst the elderly were taking a bath at home.
I'm not sure what the reporter thinks is mysterious. Seems the problem is well understood. Elderly people with a history of hypertension or heart disease should be careful taking hot baths in winter, particularly if they've been hitting the bottle. They also need the be careful not to slip getting in and out. Common sense really.
I think the report is misleading in labeling their story "Japanese Killer Baths." For the healthy there is no material risk.
Here's a study from the Yokohama School of medecine. It's over ten years old now but I'm sure things haven't changed much since then, though with an aging population the statistics have probably gone up. There are studies done by other prefectures which pretty much wind up at the same place. http://www.medline.ru/monograf/sudme...2tsast-1.shtml |

I read a book about the Japanese way of bathing when I was little so tried it out. I stuck with it for a while, it made sense to me- but our bathroom was freezing icicles on the inside of the window- so that put me off. That said I worry when I obese people trying to sweat off lbs in the sauna.

Naked saunas? have you been in one????
one of the most repugnant scenes I have ever come across in my life!
Men & women walking around naked, some even unshaven, others whose anal hair sticks out...have people lost their minds?
Since when does relaxing translate into observing other mens' erections, other womens' nipples hardening? what a disgrace to us all...
What kind of culture is this? shame on you whoever goes there...especially those pseudo Swiss who think they've well-integrated when they throw their clothes out and walk in there with their saggy bodies & their false sense of pride...
I applaud Islamic, Japanese, SE Asian, Turkish etc cultures for putting a cap on such junk...epic behavior just epic!
