Irish or English Pub in Brig-Glis

I enjoyed St. Patrick's Day...as I always do. This one had a bit more 'Huh?!' kind of entertainment value associated with it though. I live in Brig-Glis, one of the hubs in the Oberwallis (German speaking part of Kanton Wallis/Provins Valais).

While I didn't expect heaps of St. Paddy's day revellers, I was hoping to find me a Guiness on tap...especially since there was a pub called the Britannia that used to have it (if I recall...I travel a lot). Well, no on tap Guiness there....no Guiness at all (they've changed their look...perhaps a name change for the Britannia is in order as well).

Ended up at another pub where they at least had Guiness in bottles. The only other green things in the pub except my shirt were the Feldschlossen bottles and the face of some poor lad in the corner who had a bit too much. My brother-in-law (God love 'im) was at least sympathetic...and a good drinking partner.

So...anyone wanna open an Irish/English pub in Brig Glis so I have a proper place to have a pint...or does anyone know of a pub I missed? Purely selfish of me.
