Buying rubbish bags [Olten]

I have a list of places to buy Stadt Olten rubbish bags but cannot find any in these stores. Do they keep them in a different part of the store or behind a counter.

hmmm... another thing that should be simple

Re: Buying rubbish bags

Ours are kept at the check out desks at Migros and Coop. They're not out on the shelves.

Re: Buying rubbish bags

yes, took us a few weeks to get up the courage to face the ladies at our local Coop and ask for them...

Oh, I found them in Zurich on display in the post office - so maybe your post office has them too ?

Re: Buying rubbish bags

Make sure you recycle as much as you can otherwise you'll be going through them in no time and they aren't cheap.

Re: Buying rubbish bags

Yes they do ook very expensive luckily I am an avid recycler.

Also do I ask for Kehrichsäcke? I think this is the right word, they don`t speak Eglish at my local shop and my German is shameful.

Haben Sie Abfallsackli? should be fine. Then they'll ask you what size. Usually 35litre is the standard. "Foivunddriisg"
