Swiss voltage converter, where to buy?

Hello,

I need to buy a converter for a sewing machine (machine is Japanese, 110-120 V, 60 Hz, 100W). I have found smaller ones (55W), but no idea where to get the one for 100W. Does anyone know?

I live in Lausanne.

Thanks!
Alex

Re: Swiss voltage converter, where to buy?

you'll need a fairly meaty one for a sewing machine. It's quite a draw on the power.....

I have a 2000w 220-110 step-down transformer. Something like that is what you seek (it's for US stuff) it's called step-down transformer. You might want to get some US plugs and find a US version?

Re: Swiss voltage converter, where to buy?

i found the one i need, but in the us:

http://www.voltagevalet.com/converters.html

this has some good explanations anyway. but shipping it is expensive because they only use fedex. so i am trying to find it in switzerland (200 w is enough).

thanks!
