Is there anybody who knows of a place where I can buy some darkroom equipment (film photography is still alive!!! Maybe not in best of shapes but... still going ;-))?

Oh, and it would be nice if they could speak/understand English (OK, Italian can do as well )

If you are looking for something specific you could try www.toppreise.ch, key in a search term and see if it matches up. This is usually how I find shops that sell certain types of articles.

Scott (on this forum) runs a webshop, but I think his stuff is mostly for digital. He might be able to give you better advice though. Except that he is on holiday at the moment

Try eBay. I am sure heaps of people are offloading "Dunkelkammer" equipment as they move to digital.

You can try Eschenmoser (www.eschenmoser.ch) in Zurich, or Ars Imago in Zug (they sell online at www.ars-imago.ch)

Cool... I am on vacation, and didn't know it I'll be sure to tell my brain that once it relaxes from the digital-darkroom stress!

My webshop www.ch-foto.com does not offer film-darkroom hardware. Concentrating on the new trends.

I've switched to digital (except for infrared work - Kodak HIE is still best). If you have the time, it is worthwhile looking in a Brockenhaus (the one close to Sihlcity is a good starting point). Otherwise put a want-add in Fundgrube (there are many projectors etc. sitting around in attics and cellars).
