Where in Switzerland can I rent a piano studio or piano on hourly basis?

I'll be travelling to Switzerland (to many cities) for a few weeks. I'm wondering if there is any piano studio which I can practice in and pay on an hourly basis. Perhaps there are some in the cities (e.g. Geneva, Zurich etc)? Or simply a piano for practicing which I can pay for?

Please advise.

For a few weeks only, this might limit your options.

I'd post an ad or read through existing ones here:

http://kulturbuero.ch/kulturboerse/i...pe=3&isoffer=0
http://www.musiclink.ch/kleinanzeige...gen.php?cat=10

And apply here but mention that you need a piano:

Good luck!

I'd probably check with local piano retailers. They might be able to help, no?

I know there are practice rooms available around here, and I think most serious music shops would have someone who knew where to find one, whether they come equiped with a piano might be a different matter.

Konservatorium (http://www.konsi.ch/Konsi.3.0.html)
-check inside rooms, some rooms have pianos. Best time to go is early in the morning (opening time) 8:00-9:00 or 20:00-21:00 (closing time), when there are usually no lessons. During the day, all rooms are occupied. Check the timetable on the side of the door to see if the room is reserved at a particular time or not.

Irchel Studienbibliothek (http://www.hbz.uzh.ch/)
-you can ask librarian to reserve piano located in a room right next to library.

I used these free possibilities before I decided to buy one of Roland's KR-series e-pianos. You can purchase e-piano at Jecklin (Kunsthaus)
or Musikhug (Rathaus). Probably you can rent an e-piano there as well..

Re: Where in Switzerland can I rent a piano studio or piano on hourly basis?

I have a beautiful steinway, model B, and would like to rent it out in hourly basis to any one who wants to practice on it.

the piano is in my lake side appartment, overlooking the lake.

it is 5 min walk from wollerau station.

if any one is interested, please drop me a message.
