I wrote awhile back about this, but though I would give it another go. I am writing to see if anyone has any ties, connections, or contacts they would be willing to share with me at any biotech or pharmaceutical companies. I have a masters in biomedical engineering and a bachelors in biophysics with extensive research experience. I am looking for a hands on research associate/assistant or scientist position. Currently, I am residing in the US, but would love to move to Switzerland, as I have lived and worked abroad before.

I have heard from a couple of people that most biotech/pharmaceutical companies require PhDs in Switzerland, and while this may be the norm, I know it isn't always the case. With my research experience and experience abroad, I think this makes up for only have a masters and not PhD.

I have been applying to all the major biotech/pharmaceutical companies online, but I know it always helps if you have some contacts so I was just hoping to see if anyone had any other advice, contacts, or thinks they might be able to help me. Hi Astronautjnc. I work for one of the big pharma's in Basel. I would suggest contacting CTC (www.ctcon.ch) although they deal with mainly the clinical trials side of things they will have contacts else where. I have used them in the past and they are great!
