Looking for a Dentist in Geneva-Nyon-Lausanne area

Can anyone recommend me an outstanding Dentist in Geneva or Vaud (preferably a young (30-45 years old) dentist, who is familiar with aesthetic dentistry, and particularly, is accustomed to new dental materials and new technologies such as CEREC and/or BPR (Bonded Porcelain Restoration) ?
It is very important that the recommended dentist would be capable of communicating in English, and won't get annoyed when asked questions.
and - preferably, won't charge through the roof !

The reason for "a young dentist" is an assumption that it takes 5 years to graduate, and another 5 years to practice and specialise under supervision

Older dentists are very often used to, and comfortable with, old practices, dental laboratories, sometimes outdated equipment & materials, and mainly - "multi-visit" practice)
Obviously the above is a sweeping statement, I am sure there are many exceptions....

the BPR is a "one visit" procedure. it takes 2-3 hours to fix a perfect crown that can last 15 years or more.
This means - No temporary fillings, No temporary loose ugly crowns..etc.

Unfortunately, although Switzerland is very advanced and probably one of the leading nations in Medical and Dental Sciences, there are many dentists around who are utterly ignorant of any new technologies that were developed in the past decade - such as new technologies for oral implants, guided tissue regeneration, bio-mimetic and adhesive restoration dentistry, and new advances in dental materials.

So, if any of you came across a skilful "cutting edge" dentist - Please !!!! let me know.
Many thanks

the BPR is a "one visit" procedure, it takes between 2-3 hours to fix a perfect crown that will last for at least 10-15 years (which means no more temporary fillings & temporary ugly crowns)

Re: Looking for a Dentist in Geneva-Nyon-Lausanne area

I stay away from dentists but my wife has been very happy with Adent in Geneva (we also went to their clinics in Yverdon and Ecublens and they were fine too). I was finally ordered (by wife) to get a cleaning and check up and they were sooo much better than my last dental experience 17 years ago . Maybe I'm gushing since I got a clean bill of dental health from them.

I don't know about the procedures you describe but I don't think I saw anyone over 40 in the office and they seem very up to date. English is fine.

Re: Looking for a Dentist in Geneva-Nyon-Lausanne area

Hi, I'm italian, just moved to Commugny and I am desperate to find a dentist. I've just finished my treatment in London, where I used to live and now I'm in pain again not because of my dentist, he is very good but because I have a lot of problems. I need to take off a tooth which has a crown and its attached to another tooth. The problem is I won't be able to go to London now because I have to work.
Dentists here are too expensive and I agree with Uri, some are too old and don't use modern technology. I also need someone who can let me pay monthly...I know, I'm dreaming. Anyway, if someone knows a good dentist, maybe in France, close to Commugny, please, let me know. Thanks.
