Just moved yesterday.
I highly recommend the movers - Achti Transport (http://www.achtitransport.ch/).
They arrived on time, took apart and re-assmbled the furniture (even the Conforama quality ones ), and were great to work with.

Their prices are good too (exactly as published on their website) !

which cleaners did you use? We could tag Cleaners onto this thread - it'd be most helpful...

Our usual cleaner will clean the apartment. she only speaks Spanish - I don't know if she is looking for extra work, if so - I'll post the details.

I just recently used this company, as recommended by a friend. Price is very reasonable with guarantee. The man who manages the place speaks english, however, the cleaners only speak german (as far as I am concern)

I am about to move into my new apartment. As you know it is absolutely very important that you hand over the apartment to the owner in absolutely clean condition otherwise they will charge you for every little sratch they find and cut off from your deposit.

I asked one company called mr. clean and they requested 1000 CHF to clean 2room 70m2 apartment. thisis insane. anyone have better suggestion??

From what I've heard, and I'm sure others know more, that seems to be a reasonable price for apartment cleaning. I don't think its possible for a regular tenant to clean an apartment as well as is required, frankly. I know I could never do it, for instance.

The cheapest offer I got was from the person Marijana Gajic. I do not know the cleaning company name exactly :-(
For 4.5 rooms appartment, they suggested 1000 CHF for cleaning with a guarantee. I do not know how trustable they are because I have not tried them yet!
