I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a coin machine anywhere around Basel? I am one that likes to hold on to my coins until they rack up and then change them in for bills. Back home we had a coinstar machine is there anything like this here.

they are in most banks in Baden, so I dont see why they wouldnt be in Basel - just walk into one, you're sure to see it.

The Raiffeisen in my village has a machine that you drop all the coins into, which then prints out a slip with the total deposited which you take to the teller.

I found one in my local UBS in Zug, I'm guessing one in Basel (or anywhere else for that matter) should have one too.

On a side note, I love the UBS one - put the money on the little belt and watch the numbers fly up! Went with an old workmate and she changed up about 400chf!!!

Ok apparently there is one in the big BKB at Schifflande in Basel - i will check it out! yeah getting rid of coins!!!

Has anyone found one of these in Geneva? I've been to a few banks and not found one yet (asked staff and they did not know).
