Walk across the
Seedamm (zoom out to see the complete route) to Pfaffikon SZ - it takes about an hour (and it's only a five minute train journey back again afterwards), starts with a wooden bridge with gorgeous views of the Obersee and mountains, that follows the route of an ancient pilgrims' way (the Jakobsweg - you can carry on to Santiago de Compostela, if you like!), then it goes through an interesting little playground/picnic area with an archimedes screw to play with, goes across the island of Hurden (there's a quaint little chapel that's worth a visit there), and ends in the Canton Congo. Or you can get the train to Pfaffikon SZ and walk
towards civilisation, if you prefer.
On a day like today, it's a very pleasant walk.
