Re: Where to buy bras?

Beldonna can order whatever size nursing bra you need. You could also try www.mothercare.co.uk. C&A also has them for < CHF 30.

why's that ? He could be simply a new dad attentive to his wife's needs. I know that my better Swiss-German half had to help me find what I needed as a new mom.

New rules at beldona are they arent allowed to order anymore. They have to sell what they have, so i have been told.

I'm not sure about "big" stores, I do know that C&A has some maternity wear available, the one here in GrosseBasel (near Barfüsserplatz) has the maternity stuff near the plus size stuff... they go all the way up to size 50.

So far as other maternity things, I'll offer that when I was looking for bras and such, the women who I asked in the various shops were quite helpful in directing me where else to look if they didn't have what I needed.

I couldn't find any larger size bras (let alone nursing ones) in my size (42DDD) in any of the local stores for prices I was willing to pay - 120+chf is NOT an amount I am willing to pay for a bra - or in fabrics I'd like - Nina had some pretty stuff but it was all lacy, not something that someone who is pregnant and (sorry guys!) experiencing sensitive skin issues would want to have to deal with.

Meanwhile, Bonprix catalog carries larger size bras, unfortunately not nursing ones that I saw, but they even have cotton and "t-shirt" (seamless cup) bras for 20 to 40chf.

Re: Where to buy [larger size and nursing] bras?

It depends on how long you want to nurse, C&A nursing bras I had gave in after a few months since they had no underwires and were 100% cotton. They were quite comfortable, I wore them at night.

But overall, H&M ones I had were terrific and 25fr. Anita were also great, firm and comfortable (50fr).

many thanks. I saw a big store when I was on the motorway from Bern to Fribourg, something like "alles fuer mutter und babys". Maybe I will also try this.

Re: Where to buy [larger size and nursing] bras?

Almost impossible in Swissland in my experience.

Try www.bravissimo.com if you are a D cup or above.
