Hi,

I have been looking around the threads for an answer and I'm not having much luck. I am looking to go skiing at Davos for three days in December some time and I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good place to stay near by. Cheap would be ideal but not essential. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I always stay at the Youth Palace, which is a well run, clean, reasonably priced youth hostel situated 10 mins walk from Parsennbahn or 5 mins walk to take a bus to other pistes.

If its early december you can often find early season special offers.

I second the hostel. I've stayed there once (in the summer) and I found it quite comfortable and reasonably priced.

rackiec, your suggestion of the tourism office is inspired. One quick google search for it and now I have to make the decision of which place i would like to stay in. I feel a bit stupid for not searching it sooner. Thanks alot!

we (a group of 12-14) have gone to Davos the past two winters and stayed at the Walserhuus - http://www.walserhuus.ch/

there's a bus that runs right to Davos outside the front door. The hotel is in a spectacular location and we can't fault the hotel (or the fondue)
