Keeping a horse in schaffhausen

Hi there, am moving out to Schaffhausen in 2010, and am planning to bring my horse. Can anyone recommend livery stables in the area (including Germany) preferably English speaking until my German is better!
I am particularly interested in dressage, and eventually would like compete when established. Does any one have any experiences to share regarding this. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Cocotheclown

Re: Keeping a horse in schaffhausen

A good place to start with your enquiries would be Herr Ernst Bruetsch in Schlatt (about 10mins from Schaff). My daughter rides there & loves it, I don't know if they do livery but Herr Brutsch speaks good English & would be very helpful (052 657 1366). Another stable is Pferdehof - Gruenau at Guntmadingen (052 685 2869), Herr Neukomm, but he doesn't speak english, likewise I don't know if livery is possible. Both have websites.

Horses are usually taller than sheep (unless you have one of those miniature ones). I would try Pferdhausen.
