Hello everyone.

My first post here.

I have been here in Basel for just over a year now. Moved over from London.

I am big into reggae/ dub. Been to all the usual place in Basel - Annex, ABX Bar and even played/dj on a couple of occasions.

I have my own sound system and vintage / new roots reggae collection.

I am looking for a local Basel venue where I could string up the sound system and run some tunes for the people on maybe a monthly basis.

Anyone here into root & culture / dub.

Any ideas / tips on social venues / church halls / community centres which allow for a thumping bass and a happy face..??

So far I have not seen a roots scene here in Swiss. More of a dancehall / slackness music which is not me..ragga ragga...

A bit different from the UK where we still have a big roots scene (underground)..Jah Shaka, Fatman, Jah Tubbys, Coxsone, APS, Aba-Shanti, Jah Observer, Kin Earthquake and many others...

It all starts with de roots..
