I am new to this form. I Just wanted to enquire whether in Zurich city we have any tailoring services for curtains and if so then where is it available and at what price.?

Hello Moumita, there are many shops in Zürich who will sell individualised curtains and several who will tailor curtains you bought elsewhere. But you can't tell them apart for sure without asking them.

Modesa is in the city center, they say that they do small jobs, too. And they have instructions online, which measurements they need to know.

Also, you might search other shops based on this list. I don't know how much this service usually costs. Hope that helps.

The directories.ch servers seem to be a bit overburdened, just give it some time or try again later. (Not every single entry on the list offers curtail services, it's just a list of hits that show up when you search for shop in Zürich that have to do with curtains.)

Can you tell me another thing whether there are any guys available locally who does all the assembling stuffs of furnitures at a low cost......
I know of a person who do this but charges 95 franks for an hour....!

I really can't remember and we also bought the material from them, so I couldn't give you even an estimate of how much the service did cost. It's really better if you go in and ask. Or give the shop a ring. Since they're located in downtown Zurich, chances are they will speak some english.
