well it might seem to be a strange ad. As the festive season is approaching, I might need to book a flight spontaneously to escape the cold Switzerland. But as always the problem is most of the websites require a credit card for booking. Due to the fact that I never need a credit card other than for 1-2 flight bookings per year, I actually thought to put an ad here to see if someone willing to book my tickets for me using their credit card. Then I will pay them by bank transfer. Of course the trust issue might be a problem, but we could surely work out some solutions where both of us feel safe. And of course by helping me you are entitled to tell me how much extra I should pay you. So the benefits are both sides: you might earn some small commission and even some points for your credit card with just little efforts and I got my ticket without having a credit card. And both us might be friend!

So just send me a PM if you are interested. As I said, currently I have no certain booking in mind yet, just maybe it is better for me to get to know you first for some unexpected bookings in the near future... Thanks ya.

Some airlines, Singapore airlines for one, need to see the credit card upon check in for Internet booked flights. I presume they also won't let you book unless the name that appears on the card is flying.

I have booked with Singapore Airlines before with a credit card from other people. Well, the credit card holder needs to sign sort of a letter of approval and send to SIA office. But before check in it is not necessary to show the credit card.

And of course I am aware of the travelling agent option. But as usual they need to make a living by providing the service. So I just thought to find some alternatives...

Surely it must be easier to get a credit card for these occasions? Rather than having to ask "random" forum members to book for you.

You can always get a prepaid card.

I pay with compyny card all the time. never been asked for a prove..... also payed with my mothers card when i was in college to fly USA to Belgium, never been asked a proof.

But cant help, dont have a cc sinced i would use it for crap.....
