So I'm starved for some Gap basics but can't make it over to the US or UK. For those of you that shop across the border, do you know if by chance there's a shop around Mulhouse?

I was in Mulhouse shopping last month and I didnt see a Gap store...I know there was one in Stuttgart that closed down over 2 years ago.

I know that the one in Paris still exists
There used to be a shop also in Duesseldorf but not sure whether it still exists

It doesn't look like there is one in the Haut-Rhin region and according to Wikipedia they no longer operate in Germany.

As far as I looked, the nearest ones (there is more than one) r in Paris. In gva we have these gap sales every couple of months by a Lausanne agency/company (google casual couture). They have their sale in Zurich also, but very little choice . Prices r a bit on higher side.I used to go to these but not anymore.

According to my wife, who has been to Paris Gap and is extremely familiar with Gap UK, Paris prices are considerably higher

Yes, the Paris Gap is more expensive. Also, it doesn't stock nearly the selection you can find in your average US one (for example, the jeans are almost all regular length; very hard to find tall and short, whatever they're called in Gap lingo).
Can you order online from the US? If you can do that without getting taxed outrageously, I'd recommend that instead.

I see on the US website that they do not ship internationally (only to APO and FPO addresses - basically US military bases) but perhaps you know someone in the US or at one of the military bases "nearby" where you can have it shipped and they may be willing to send it on to you?

I have gotten some really comfortable clothes from Old Navy (same company, different division) before and they are also available via that Gap website, as are a few other stores.

Lots of shopping options if you know someone who can forward things for you.

Yes, I agree the easiest way is to shop online and have things delivered and then reshipped. I was hoping to browse the shop. Ah well, guess I'll wait until I'm in London next time.
