Any recommendations for a facial [Zurich]?

Hey everyone,

Haven't been for one in over a year. Can anyone recommend a good place in Zurich with hopefully some relaxing involved? Would prefer natural products, but am open. Not really after something intensive.

Thanks,
Nanda.

I've been to Labo Spa. Never had a facial but they give a very good pedicure and the atmosphere is nice. Little pricey, but such is Zurich.

Also there is are listings in the little Zuri guide they give out to tourists.

I go to Schminkbar once in awhile (http://www.schminkbar.ch). I've never had a facial there but I've been pleased with other cosmetic stuff. They have a nice relaxed vibe, the chairs and sofas are comfy, and you usually get free tea and a little fruit-skewer or something like that. Prices seem reasonable to me, but I don't go that often so I'm not good at comparison shopping.

Actually...come to think of it...they weren't recommending I had a facial so much as suggesting I try plastic surgery

I've used the spa in Globus a few times, however I've never had a facial there. The atmosphere is really relaxing and the staff are lovely and the prices are reasonable but probably not the cheapest in the city!

Re: Any recommendations for a facial [Zurich]?

I've been to many Spa here in Zurich, but so far the best facial i had it was in The Club Olympus in Park Hyatt Hotel, the service is 5*****, and the service provider is very nice, friendly, and the product 5***** and i recommend Miss Caterina Rodriguez, she has magic hands for massage also,,,,,

here's the link: The Club Olympus

hope it's help

Re: Any recommendations for a facial [Zurich]?

Thanks everyone.

I went to Globus and it was expensive and well .... apart from being relaxing, I found the staff to be quite inexperienced. On a selling run (but not too bad, seen worse).

Then the two lovely women working at Globus (who completely agreed with me) gave me a tip - right across the road, their old colleague (pre-globus days) does fantastic facials that they're still regulars there:

I've been going there now for over a year and it really is very good. They don't speak much english, but if you can make a sentence or two in high german, they're very friendly.

Re: Any recommendations for a facial [Zurich]?

Hey Nanda,

I've been to Globus for facials and I really do have to say I've always had a great experience. I think it is fully worth the price (chf 150 -280)- and it's really not more expensive than other places. I actually went to labo spa - very pretty, but had a bad experience and found it very expensive. At Globus, they will tell you what kind of facial you need and what products they think best to use too. This girl Regula (don't know her last name) is really so good. Sweet and gentle.
