I don't see the problem to be quite honest. Why not ask and maybe someone knows where you can get them cheap or somewhere where there is more choice? Maybe it is laziness, maybe he just wants a quick answer so he can get there and back in a lunchbreak, I mean who are we to make that judgement? It seems that some people have just been here too long. As Papa Goose seems to imply, some people are because they are bored and looking to spice up uninteresting lives. Some regulars seem to take it personally when they see the same questions coming up. If that is the case why not just set up a website with a list? There are thread here that I think are pointless (and I agree with Papa Goose about!) but these sorts of questions are always going to be asked.

It's not so easy to find unusual or specialist stuff - categories which certainly include small padlocks, and certainly exclude everyday items such as sheets and blankets, which any idiot should be able to go into town and purchase without guidance.

I'm all for helping genuine enquiries, but this request is just downright lazy.

Next the OP will be asking us to find milk and eggs...

Excellent idea! Will you please do it?

This was started some 3 years ago and quite a number of man/woman hours went into what would become the EF Wiki, but it failed through lack of people willing to put the hours in. Perhaps you can take it up??

[added] F.G: deleting posts is for kids. Very small ones...
