IKEA.

Take the train to Allaman. You'll get off the train and IKEA will be right in front of you. They are open until 7PM weekdays and 9PM on Thurs/Fri.

Oh, be nice! The OP's a physicist.

They're second only to mathematicians in the lack-of-worldly-knowledge rankings...

Unfortunately linking to www.just****inggoogleit.com doesn't work because of the swear filter. For shame.

Re: where i can buy blankets, sheets, and other things for the house?

Awwww, he's only had 2 posts and his user name has "confused" in it! Poor guy!

Don't worry, you're new to the forum and new to the country. You'll figure it all out soon enough. As mentioned already, IKEA might be the best solution for you.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your time here.

I found listings for kick starters for the Hadron Collider, dentures for chickens, and a really good one for golden goose eggs, but drew a total blank on sheets.

Does your mum know your out...

This person came here with legit questions and the EF regulars are acting like jerks. I'm ashamed of this place at the moment.

hhmmm.

first, my comments was not about the OP, rather about the sarcastic comments he made down the line

second, these kind of questions have been asked a lot of times here, and a simple search would have yielded more results

Aww that's really sweet... don't mind the forum vetrans... they love to jump all over fresh meat here in the forums since fresh meat in Switzerland is otherwise too expensive.
And same from me... Welcome to the forum and you might also find what you are looking for at Coop, Migros, Manor, etc. or you can post and [WANTED] linens in geneva here in the forums... you never know
