| | | Daughter needs Lacoste shoes? Hi There My daughter is a fussy shoe shopper but finally she liked some Lacoste shoes she wants to have. I have heard from people that if you buy/order them from Germany they come out a bit cheaper. Has anyone ordered or bought somewhere from there. I would be a happy mother to know about that. Thanks in advance. Best Regards |

The whole point of buying Lacoste is to tell yourself and the world that you have a surplus of disposable income such as you can pay 100 CHF for an otherwise 15 CHF shirt but with an embroided crocodile.
Getting it cheaper defeats the whole purpose of the excercise | | The following 8 users would like to thank for this useful post: | |

Is it really worth all the bother of ordering from Germany, and remember you'll need to change Chf to Euro, to gain what is a relatively small amount of money. Surely you're time is worth
more than this ?

I'm wearing a pair right now, and they are the most comfortable paid I have ever owned in my life. That said I only paid $50 for them in the US. If you you know someone heading that way I'd recommend getting a pair for your daughter and everyone else in the family, very much so worth it.
I got them at www.6pm.com (i think they were on sale)
They cost a pretty penny in Germany, I find that they are a lot cheaper here (comparatively). I'd still be hesitant to pay local prices though, they seem much more of a status symbol here.

They even have a German site, if it makes any difference. Once you've seen their prices and you know your size - admittedly easier for chaps - you'll never go to Ochsner again.

Most of the large internet shopping sites are safe and will deliver/post throughout Europe. Don't forget the import duties and post office fee though you will be charged.

There is a new outlet village in Landquart, right next to the station, and they have a Lacoste shop there. I was not in there, but one of the other outlet stores there had shoes from CHF 20. It may be worth dropping in, if you go that way anyway, as they all advertise with 30-70% off normal retail prices.
Doc.

Ah, you mean she WANTS Lacoste shoes. Not the same thing.
With the new customs duties, you might as well get them here.

well, i guess i dont have to write the whole word to word conversation between me and my child. if you must know, she is very polite and its me who will finally decide whether she will have the shoe or not. we went to see the shoe and she said no mama its a bit too expensive. but i also understand her point of view. by the way do you have a 15 year old at home or for that matter kids at all |
