| | | favorite Zurich spot for manicure?
Does any one have a favorite spot for a manicure? I'm looking for a place with good hygienic practices. (Also, does any one know the usual going rate for a french manicure?) Thanks! |

ok .
my partner has a studio on the ground floor of our house.we live near the airport so it may be too far...She is an expert in naildesign, pedicure, lash curling, permanent make-up and other treatments i have never heard of.As a Swiss(she speaks English,French,Spanish plus a little Italian - makes me sick - and is VERY hygienic if you know what I mean!!) she is a perfectionist and produces high quality work at reasonable(non-city) prices. If you are interested PM me and I can give you phone/web details/prices or rather she can.

Don't know anything about this place but I've seen a nail manicure shop on Forchstrasse. It's past Kreuzplatz and/or maybe Hegibachplatz on the right hand side as you travel away from the city centre

I would like to hear some suggestions on this too!!!
IN LA/NYC, a mani/pedi even in posh areas was 20$. I haven't found anything here for less than 50CHF for a pedicure.
Don't care about "quality" (it's paint on dead tissue after all) as much as price.
Help!

i just had a pedicure in a wellness hotel in Flims, it was about 100 fr, but it really wasn't JUST painting the nails. She worked on my feet for a hour at least incl massaging and all that stuff. My feet really felt like baby feet after that...

I'm also dying to find a good place to get a pedicure in Zurich. Labo spa has pedicures but they run around CHF 95. There is a pedicure place on Hegibachstrasse, up the street about 2 minutes from Hegibachplatz. However, I've never actually seen it open which means they are not open on Saturday and only during the days on weekdays. So therefore does nothing for me.
Can anyone tell me any place to get a spa pedicure that is under CHF 50?

Just wanted to put a good word in for cricketer's partner at her studio near the airport. I visited her just before Christmas and was very pleased with the service, environment and the decent chat about English TV
I'll be going again soon!!

Hi Cricketer, does your partner also do eyebrow waxing? I have tried twice to get my eye brows waxed in Zurich and both times they have looked at my like I am crazy, it seems they only pluck and I prefer them to be waxed, i recently went to globus spa and asked for them to be waxed after a look of confusion she agreed, but she used waxing sheets, all a bit bizarre and a terrible result! just glad they have finally grown back and are not so lop sided!!
anyway desperate to find somewhere that does decent eye brow waxing, if anyone knows can they let me know

Hello there,
I go to The Londoner in Kloten, just across from Kloten train station. They do both manicures and pedicures - I frequently go for both - I highly recommend them!!
Hope this helps you

ta | | | | | hi Nicky,
I asked but she doesn't do this eyebrow waxing(she does everything else!)
one of her colleagues does do this but she does not speak English - my partner is Swiss but speaks good English. best thing to do is to call her and she will put you in touch with her contact.
her name is Esther and you can get her here on her mobile 079 3138930
regards
Cricketer(aka Joe)

Re. Acrylic nails - just in case anyone is still looking, within Zürich.
I found a place nr Wiedikon which was good. Am not sure of the promotional rules of this forum so won't publish details here but anyone interested feel free to send me a message.
I've found the places I've been so far here very expensive, between 100-150 CHF. Not like your London nail bars (or factories) that's for sure!

As long as you have no connection to the business you can post the details. If it is your business then it has to go in commercial. Thanks. | Quote: | | | | | Re. Acrylic nails - just in case anyone is still looking, within Zürich.

I'm looking for someone who is an expert in lash curling nearby ZH-Airport and found your message in this forum. I'm new her on this platform. Is it possible for you to give me more information about : where exactly is the place, could you give me an email or phone number from this person, the range details or an homepage of them. I would be so happy! Wish you a great day and hopefully read you soon!
