Swiss Mystery #3 - Bendy Cigars

What's the name of those odd bent (not straight anyway) cigars that they smoke in Apenzell and other country areas? Any one know the history behind them?

Yokine,

In the US they were called "Rum cured Crooks." I don't smoke and I don't hang with people who do. I haven't seen them for years so I don't know if the company is still in business.

I thought they would have been a local speciality though, not a Cuban style.
