I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I checked all the threads in the permit section, could not find something in a specific situation as mine.

I am a Non-EU and I have stayed for 2 years in Zurich(Switzerland) with an L permit. In a few months my L permit will be renewed as a B permit. I have following questions.

1. Is there a possibility to change company now or should i first wait for my B permit?
2. Can I change company after I receive a B permit?
3. Will the new company has to sponsor for my B permit or it will be a transfer.

During my stay last 2 years I have paid all my social security, tax and insurance without miss.

For non EUs, the permit is tied to your company. I think that answers all your questions.

You can change companies but you need to be aware that this requires a bit of effort. ie it is difficult and unfortunately that means if you are trying to change company without the original company agreeing to this then you will have great difficulty unless you are a real exception ie highly talented. What you are risking is that the cantonal authorities reject your application or Bern rejects your application and thus you are no longer welcome here. Don't think this will be easy to achieve. Possible it is difficult too.
