I'm British and I have been working in Zurich from a Bank since March.
I currently have an L Permit for the whole of switzerland which is valid until the end of this year.

My wife who is also British has now joined me here and would like to look for a part time job.

I have two questions really.

Once we've been to register her, will she automatically get the same L-Permit as me or will she get a dependants L-Permit?

Can she work on a dependants L-Permit or will she have to find an employer who is willing to apply for a work permit for her?

Please read the sticky at the top of the page for EU citizens.

You are both allowed to work. Your L permits are temporary - you will get B permits when they are renewed (assuming you are staying in CH.
