Proof of Income (p60)

I need to get a copy of my income from the government. Who should I contact in order to get a copy? What I'm looking for is that letter which I think comes at the end of every tax year. Help much appreciated, I'm totally lost.

You tell the government your income for the year, not the other way round .

Your employer should be able to provide you with your income for the year to date or for previous years. Otherwise just add up your payslips.

I'm taxed at the source, at the beginning of the new year, I received a form like a p60 from my employer.

Re: Proof of Income (p60)

I have left Switzerland. I need this form for financial assistance here in Ireland. I will try my previous employer. I had hope to avoid them though as they are as inefficient and uninterested group as you can imagine! Thanks for the advice.

Ask your HR to provide a salary slip or certificate

Resurrecting this to make sure: is there an equivalent of the UK's P60 form in Switzerland where all your incomes and taxes is stated? I like to keep meticulous tax records and was wondering how this is handled here.

Will it come to my house directly or through employer and is it on January or after tax year end in April? I have been working since December but didn't receive anything in January.

From your employer
Shortly after the end of the tax year - which unlike the UK is the same as an actual year!!

Re: Proof of Income (p60)

Isn't this the Swiss form? http://www.estv.admin.ch/bundessteue...prungmarke1_17

FWIW (although only relevant to the original 2011 query) my "Basic PAYE Tools" software from HMRC says: "You must give a P60 End of Year Certificate to every employee who was in your employment on the 5 April, when the tax year ends. You must give them that P60 on or before the 31 May."

Oddly, since I deal with such documents for a number of countries, the Swiss instructions don't seem to show the deadline date for filing the document and presenting a copy to each employee.
