Searched the forum but could not find similar thread elsewhere.

I am non EU having been in CH for 4 years first two on L permit and next two on restricted B permit. Recently I with my family got an invitation to sign and integration agreement with Kantonal Migrationamt which we did and have already joined integration lang courses.

Unfortunately due to the uncertainity of the my project we could not integrate during last 4 years but now already on the way to integration having two kids studing ni local school and already integrated well. My B permit is restricted B which is due to renewal in Jan 2012. had already mentioned this during an integration interview but recently my employer informed me that its difficult to get extension this time.

So my quesion here is are there chances of getting B permit rejected even though integration agreement has been signed and integration is in progress. could someone point me to such cases if there are any.

I have already posted an outcome of my integration agreement and discussion EF but after this update from my employer I am really worried about this and apart from my kids loosing their academic year there is also significant amount of financial liability which may arise in case I have to leave the country in Jan 2012.

Would appreciate quick information here if someone have been in similar situation

Oh that sounds very difficult, i dont have any informations but i just wish YOU ALL THE BEST. My housband has a Permit B as well, but because i have a Swiss Passport, its always no problem to get a new one. As long, as he has a job..

Apart from being gainfully employed, taking language lessons etc., authorities also see how closely your activities mirror that of locals including but not limited to taking office in a local Verein or two, social time for the community etc.

Soon after signing an integration agreement I with my family have started german lessions as well as we take part in integration functions but not sure if that is somehow tracked by authorities.

Is there anyway to prove this
