Is a non-EU expired B permit holder allowed to come back Switzerland?

Hello everyone. First post for me and please take care of me

Is that possible to come back to Switzerland with a Non-EU expired B-permit? As i am going to continue my education on next year February 27th but the school staff doesn't allowed to extend my B-permit before February 20th.

Oh yeah, I am a Malaysian. Is that a possibilities to come back as a tourist perhaps? Since I heard that Malaysian is allowed to stay up to 90 days without entry visa.

Looking forward for help and first appreciated to everyone.
