G Permit Rights

Hi

I currently live in france and work in Geneva. I am from the UK. Please can someone advise me if my G permit is linked to my current employer or can I transfer it to a new employer?

If I lose my job do I have a length of time to find a new job without permit issues?

Finally I lose my job am I entitled to benefits from France or switzerland?

Thanks for your help.

Re: G Permit Rights

If you are a UK citizen you permit has no restrictions.

The unemployment issue has been covered many times on the forum. I believe you get unemployment in France, but I can't remember. You'll have to do a search.
