Will 22 yr son get work visa if both parents have B visa's?

Hi, first posting for us.

We moved to CH about 2 years ago and both my wife and I have B- work visas. My son is finishing university in the US and wants to move here with us.

Will he be eligible automatically for a work visa because of our status? Thanks for any help on this!

Presume you are all US citizens and not EU passport holders??

Unless you are from the EU, no.

OK, well that is useful but unfortunate news. Not an end of the world for me, I am in the process of EU through Italian birthright.

So with EU, it is a clear yes or still difficult process?

If you become EU and then he become EU because you are EU then it will be much easier for him.

He would need a job to stay here though.

From what I remember in UK only dependant under 18 can piggy back on their father's permit. Although he could get EU passport because of his Italian roots eventually?
