| Australian with EU citizenship
Hello to one and all, happy new year to any who reads.
My question is as follows:
I've been in Switzerland for 3 months on my Australian passport, left Switzerland in August 2011 to acquire my EU passport. Since acquiring my EU passport and dual citizenship of Australia and Great Britain I came back to Switzerland for holiday purposes. In September 2011 I flew my partner to Australia to propose to her (Shes a swiss citizen(romantic and mushy i know) I followed her back to Switzerland where I have been happily living in holiday mode since November 10, 2011. Now holiday mode has worn out and I need to work or I will end up insane. The main issue I have is does the time spent here on my Australian passport affect that of my EU (GBR) passport? I live in the canton of Schaffhausen and I will be applying for a type L job seeker permit, with hopes of gaining employment as anything first off, don't really care if its washing dishes or scrubbing toilets, something to get my foot in the door is A ok with me. I wish to move to Switzerland and having read many posts by helpful people on this forum, knowing I need to get my hands on a work permit B classification with hopes of one day upgrading to a C is my main priority.
I am also wondering if there are certain work classifications which do not receive B permits? i.e. Migros workers etc;
Kindest Regards,
soggysnowman.
