I've got several questions and would highly appreciate if the community clarifies at least some of them. I've got an offer from a Swiss company in canton Aargau and now the employer is applying for a B permit for me. So here are the question:
1) How long it takes to receive a B permit in Aargau for a non-EU?
2) I know that in cantons like Geneva and Zurich the B permit quotas are reached very fast. Are there such problems in Aargau?
3) According to [1] the employer has to publish the ad at RAV and EURES resources and wait for a while for EU labours first. After some time, the employer is allowed to request a B permit, since no matching applications have been received. How long the employer has to wait before he can apply for B permit for a non-EU?

My employer has a lack of practical expiration in such matters, and although I was given some information by the HR, I would prefer to cross check with someone how has gone through is already.

most likely you will get L-permit, for me company also applied for B, but got L and this is in the beginning of the year. As far as I have heard there were enough quotes in Zurich at the end of 2011.

And order:
- look for an employee in Switzerland
- publish ad at RAV and EURES - wait at least 1 month
- submit your papers along with all applied to the ad guys and reasons why all of them were turned down - wait about 1-2 months

Thank you for your answer, but are talking about Zurich or Aargau. It's true that in canton Zurich there is a great chance to recieve L permit even if a B was requested, but is it the same for Aargau?
