After about 5-6 weeks of looking for a place in Zurich I have had the fortunate luck of having a buddy of mine offer me a room in his flat in Aargau. I have an L visa and work for a company in Zurich. I also registered first in Zurich when I arrived last December.

I was recently told by a colleague that I might not be allowed to move to Aargau since I initially registered in Zurich. Is there any truth to this? is there a way around this? I am sick of looking for housing and just need some time off at this point. Thanks in advance....

You need to check the terms of your visa and permit. It might only allow you to abide in canton Zurich. if in doubt check with the Gemiende
